Driving Directions:
Total drive time from Bozeman Yellowstone International to Low Dog Lodge is 1 hour.
From the Bozeman airport, you turn right after leaving the airport; then turn left at the stop sign in Belgrade which takes you to Jackrabbit Rd. which turns into Hwy 191. Continue on Jackrabbit/Hwy 191 for about 45 minutes to the Big Sky exit. Turn right at the Conoco gas station and the Big Sky exit sign; then follow Hwy 64/Spur Road up the hill until you see the Big Sky Resort sign on the left. Turn left; drive across the dam; turn left at the “T” and take the very next left which is Low Dog Rd. Low Dog Lodge is the last home on the right at the end of the cul-de-sac.
Ski-in and Ski-out Access to Low Dog Lodge:
Ski Out: You can ski-out of the driveway onto Low Dog Road; turn right and ski down the ski trail to Thunder Wolf High Speed Quad.
Ski In: There are two ways to ski back to Low Dog Lodge. The easiest way is to take Ram Charger High Speed Quad and ski back on Silver Knife ski run which is shown on the ski trail maps. As you come down Silver Knife, stay to the skier’s right, and just before the end of Silver Knife you will see a ski run and the Bear Back Poma lift off to your right. The Bear Back Poma Lift run takes you to Black Eagle Road. Take a right down the trail that runs along side of Low Dog Road this will take you right to our home. There are alternate routes for expert skiers.
